Porter is a 2 1/2 year old male beagle who is wonderful, smart, warm, loving and weighs 25 pounds. His mom and dad have had him since he was a puppy. Unfortunately, he is in need of a new home; their little boy has developed an allergic reaction to dogs. He's great with kids and his family has been reluctant to find a new home for him; they love him very much. He is housebroken and has had training. He knows the following: sit, down, head down, wait. If you put a piece of food on his nose and tell him to wait, he'll wait until you say "okay". He likes: eating, playing tug of war, curling up next to someone, chasing and being chased by dogs, dog parks, walks and runs, people, tennis balls, sleeping, and chasing birds or squirrels. Porter loves everyone and will need a home that either has a stay at home parent or another dog to keep him company during the day.
