My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jilly is a beautiful 2yo black tri Australian Shepherd female who is big on personality! She is approximately 40lbs, is very energetic and loves to play!

If you are looking for a solid running partner, Jilly may be your perfect companion; she loves to run! She loves tennis balls and Frisbees and will play fetch all day long. Jilly would be happiest with a big back yard, or frequent trips to the dog park. After a busy day of playing and socializing, she loves nothing more than to cuddle on the couch or lay at your feet.

Jilly is great to take out in public, she loves dogs and people. She especially loves
children and will smother them with love. Her quirky features include looking
at shadows, in fact you will often find her glancing at the ceiling or staring into a
different room. She also hates when her owners leave without her, so it is best if you distract her with a frozen treat when you leave for work. She does bark at noises or people at night, but don’t let her fool you. She just wants to say hello! Once at home, she will let you know she is ready for love by nosing your hand.

Jilly is a great Aussie that deserves a wonderful home. She requires a forever home that is active and will make sure she gets her daily exercise. It takes a lot to tire this girl out! As long as she has an opportunity to be active daily, Jilly is a sweetheart. She fits in great and would do just fine with an active individual or family. She would also do fine with or without a doggie playmate, however any potential canine companions must let her be boss.

She currently knows sit, lay, wait (for her food), and come (very solid recall). She is working on her leash walking as she is very excited and energetic, leading to some pulling.

Jilly is housebroken and cratetrained! She has been spayed, is utd on her
vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm. She has been kept up to date on her monthly preventatives and is ready to find her new, fun filled home! Jilly is currently being fostered in Bloomington Minnesota. If you are interested in making this girl a part of your family, please complete the ADOPTION APPLICATION
