My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duchess. Duchess had the luck of the Irish on her side when she went into labor while she was headed to the "room" at the shelter. The caring hearts at the shelter decided that must have been a sign so they reached out to find a group with room for a mom and her single baby (Charles Wallace).

Duchess is crate and house trained and will be fully vetted once CW is completely weaned, after which she will be available for adoption.

They think that Duchess is probably an Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute mix. At only 65 lbs, she really isn't a very large dog and wouldn't take up much space at a new home.

Duchess LOVES stuffed animals and will lovingly carry them around. If you'd like to meet Duchess please send us an email to get an application and set up a meeting and greet time.

Duchess really deserve a loving home after almost not "being here" at all!
