My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sydney, a stunning 2 year old blue merle Australian Shepherd female with bright blue eyes. She is about 40 lbs and is very sweet and loving. Giving hugs is part of her daily routine. If you meet her, you just might fall in love!

Sydney is the typical high energy Aussie. This girl needs lots of exercise. She loves to run and play with her foster siblings in the large fenced yard. Her favorite playmate surprisingly is her Chihuahua mix foster sibling. Playing with toys is at the top of her list too. We do suggest a fenced yard so Sydney will know her boundaries.

Sydney likes children but we suggest older kids around 10 or above because she loves to play. Older kids are just a better playmates for her. She has not been cat tested so we suggest a cat free home.

She has been learning about the world in her foster home. In her previous life, she was very sheltered. Sydney gets along with kids and women. She is getting to meet men now and doing very well. If Sydney sees an unfamiliar man, she will alert but she will quickly settle and allow the man to pet her.

We do suggest crating Sydney when she is left unattended because she still has a bit of puppy in her personality. She still is a little bit of a chewer if she finds a tasty shoe. A crate will allow her to get used to her new home without any mischief or other puppy mistakes.
