My name is Mitzi, I am a sweet little tan 3 year old female and weigh 4.5 lbs. I came to CRT with a lot of baggage which has been hard to overcome. I didn’t know what grass was and wouldn’t go potty outside. It was hard for my foster mom but she was a champ about it and worked with me every single day and a couple others that had the same problems. I was also very shy and hid under the kitchen table and wouldn’t come out except to run to my crate and hide again.
It is amazing how time and having your human understand and love you, can help you to come out of your shell. I am still working on my shyness but I am doing great and now enjoy being held and kissed! I go outside to go potty and I am crate trained. I really love the new found chew toys and have started going into the computer room with my foster mom and lay on a nice soft, cushy doggy bed, right beside her.
I had to have some knee surgery and that is doing a little better but will be awhile working on that. I am starting to walk on it and play a little again with the other foster sisters so I should be in good shape very soon.
My new home needs to be filled with love and understanding for me. I am a very sweet, lovable girl that needs lots of gentle care. I would do great with another small dog but please no small children, I am too fragile.
