My story

Introducing MIA, this blonde beauty is about 4 years old and brand new to rescue. Mia has had an unfortunate rough start to life, but so far she appears to have wonderful potential. We have done a quick assessment and this is what we've observed. "She is a large girl and has very little manners, but after just a little bit of work, she started to catch on. Mia warms up VERY quickly to people, loves to be touched and petted. In addition, as she was waiting to come into rescue, she walked through numerous dogs and was crated in an area with about 15 other dogs of all breeds and didn't react at all. Overall, Mia seems to be a very sweet dog who will be very trainable". We will post more as we get to know her. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $450 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped.
