My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Guten tag! My name is Parker and I am a 1.5 year old 13 pound miniature dachshund. I am only miniature in size and not personality, or cuteness. Being in an outdoor pound was not fun, even though I was in southern Illinois it got really cold some nights. One day, a man named Herr Joe came and picked me up and brought me home where I got a bath and got to meet other dogs. We went to the doctor and I got checked out, got my shots, heartworm check, wormed and then :auf wiedersehn and away I went into my foster home.

Oh you know what's even cooler? My foster sister was adopted from Safely Home Canine Rescue so she was telling me all about them. She said they are cool and my foster parents (her mom and dad) are the bomb. My foster sister is a lab, so I have to stand on my back legs to talk to her, and that makes everyone laugh. I'm pretty sure I will make you smile too! Read below to find out her to meet me.
