My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RAIN showed up at a windowsill one cold, rainy, spring eve. She soon brought her 4 kittens and made herself at home on the back porch. She was a very protective mom, but once trust was established, she was very nice.

All the kittens have been adopted, so we are giving Rain a chance! She has been in a foster home for two months. Socialization has been slow, but rewarding. She doesn't take change well - very scared and timid. Once used to her surroundings and trust is established, she is quite sweet! Not too big on being held, she prefers to be present with the humans in her midst. She loves to be brushed and is very communal with other cats. She REALLY enjoys the community of cats, especially male cats. She seems to have more of an affinity towards men too, but she gets along well with her foster mom.

Rain needs a home, preferably with other cats. She needs patience and willingness to put a little effort into establishing trust. AS change is difficult for her, you have to take it slow. It just takes intention to bond with feeding and brushing. She has been great in using the cat box while in my home.

You would never know the skinny, patchy, matted haired beast on the windowsill is the beauty you see now. She is GORGEOUS!

Adoption fee is a minimum $55 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.
