My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heidi is an adult female White German Shepherd that is 6 years old. She was surrendered to the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter and we were able to pull her from the shelter just before her time was almost up. Heidi has some hair loss on her back end/ tail area which is believed to be from a flea allergy. Sadly, she has also tested positive for heartworms and she will not be available for adoption until after her heartworms have been treated.

Update: Heidi has started heartworm treatment and will be available for adoption around mid April once she has recovered from heartworm treatment. She also has also fully recovered from her flea dermatitis and has a full coat of fur.

She is great with kids and so far has been ok with less dominant dogs. She is housebroken and crate trained.

If you are interested in adopting Heidi or any of our other foster dogs, please email us at gsdrescueofeasttn@gmail.com. Heidi's adoption fee is $200.
