Hi, my name is Flame. I'm tan/sable & white, so my name is perfect. My fosterMom says I'm a very pretty, pretty girl. I'm 2.5 years old (my birthday is 6/29/10). My papers say I weigh 18 pounds, but fosterMom has no idea where I'm hiding those pounds, as I have a great figure. My fosterMom says I'm a sweet, friendly girl, and my tail never stops wagging. My previous owner fell on hard times and had to find a new home for me. I had lots of sisters/brothers at my former home, so I spent a lot of time outside; I'm now learning to be an indoor dog, which I already love by the way. I've mastered the crate training - that was easy! I'm learning to sit on command, which I can do, as I'm really smart. I do have to work on the leash training thing, though. My fosterMom says house-training is going good, I mostly follow the other dogs in the house when they go out. Did I mention I like the other dogs in my house... although they're much older than me... and pretty lazy, except when we go outside and we all run as fast as we can to try and catch those darn squirrels? FosterMom says I'm so lovable but a bit shy/skittish, and for this reason I'd do better in a home with no children. Young children are full of energy, and may scare me when they're running around playing. If you reach for me, I'll shy away - but all you have to do is sit down on the couch and I'll come right over to you. I just love being near my human, and want to be in your lap or right next to you most of the time, even at night - I'll lay right by your side in bed. Oh, and I love, LOVE toys! I drag them all out of the toy box and even throw them up in the air to play with. My fosterMom says I'm so easy to love.... are you that patient, special person that will love me too?
