My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Now here's a wiggly little happy girl that is amazing. She is alert, curious but amazingly calm. She does not sport that ultra-high engergy you find in so many of the bully breeds. Nina was an owner surrender so here is what we know about her:

• She’s 18 months old.
• She was surrendered instead of the owner paying the fines for letting her run loose.
• She was purchased from a breeder as a puppy.
• She’s used to being left alone 4 to 6 hours a day.
• When left alone she was either in an indoor crate or outdoor kennel.
• Slept indoors in a crate or outdoors in a kennel at night.
• Owner does trust dog loose in the house unsupervised.
• Spent over 10 hours a day interacting with people.
• Is housetrained and goes to door to alert.
• Has been successfully crated for over 8 hours.
• Lived with 2 other male dogs and played with them.
• Lived with 2 female cats and ignored them.
• Plays with strange dogs upon first meeting.
• No aggression toward livestock.
• Has lived with children under 6 years of age and was playful & friendly.
• Knows basic commands (sit, stay, come and down)
• Pulls slightly on leash.
• Toys, trash or stolen food can be taken from the animals mouth safely.
• Travels well in car.
• Loves the river.
