Hi! I was dumped in a SCARS foster home's yard!
Actually, I was tied to their fence post. By the time the foster mom got home from work, we were all so tangled up in chains that we couldn't move!! The person who dumped us left a note, but no name or phone number. According to that note I am an 8 year old Border Collie.
Obviously, SCARS is disgusted with the lack of responsibility displayed by the dog's owner. SCARS is at capacity at the moment and we do not have room for these dogs. As a result, and due to their size, we have had to put these dogs into a run and move Crosby and Sis into crates! Further, SCARS had agreed to intake a dog from the pound and now that we do not have room, that dog will be killed.
Update
Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, we were able to not only save the pound dog, but find his forever home! He is now living happily in Fort McMurray!
