Donner is up for adoption! He is a special puppy and his neurological issues will need to be taken into consideration when thinking of having this happy boy join you.
As Donner grows he goes through phases where his legs become more uncoordinated as his nerves are relearning.
His clumsiness is entertainting but it also brings limitations to what he can do. He would do best in a bungalow ty...pe home as doing lots of stairs is a struggle for him - 3/4 steps are ok.
He can not be outside in the winter for longer than a pee break as the coldness affects the neurological issues even more and he struggles with his coordination.
Also, this puppy is not being kennel trained and kenneling him all day long or night will not be an option as it will be detrimental to his muscle development/tone.
We would love to see him get adopted to a home that will continue his physical therapy and provide water therapy for Donner - this will help will his coordination.
He is the happiest puppy ever - he does not realize his handicap at all! He is great with dogs and cats, and will cuddle in your arms/lap for hours on end (literally).
