My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Tina. I’m a 16 year old small black and tan girl with white on my face, head and shoulders. But don’t let that fool you! I’m a spunky little lass!

I play with the other dogs in my foster home, but my favorite place is next to my human under a blanket on the couch or in bed. I’m not a dominate little girl, but I don’t let them push me around. I’ve even got the big guy in the house listening to me.

I recently went to the vet’s and I’m up to date on my shots and heartworm negative. I’ve got a minor heart mumur, but they did a dental with some special anesthesia and my teeth were horrible with infection. I’m now a toothless wonder! They had to pull them all, but I feel so much better now. Before, with infected teeth, I could only eat canned food. Now I eat dry kibble with a little canned food mixed in!

I’ve got some airborne allergies. Being so low to the ground, I walk around with my nose in the grass. The lady doctor gave me some pills, but they didn’t help much. I can’t wait until the fall, because I walk around the house and bang my little nose when I sneeze. That hurts!

Because of my age and heart, I can not travel far. I would prefer a home locally around South Jersey .
