My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheldon is a wonderfully sweet and loyal Bernese Mountain Dog mix. He is approximately 4 yrs old, neutered, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated and good with other dogs, cats and older children. Sheldon doesn't care for pot bellied pigs, however. Sheldon requires a lot of exercise and needs to be kept in a secure 6 ft high fenced area as he is a master escape artist. He still needs some obedience training as he is very excitable and forgets not to jump or pull on a leash. He is a very intelligent dog, who loves to please his humans. If you have the time and energy for this beautiful and loving dog, please check him out! Sheldon's adoption fee is $100. Application and home visit required.

Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the life of the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
