My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is sugar & spice and everything nice! She was owner-surrendered at the tender young age of 8 months old. She showed initial signs of neglect in being underweight and unsure of the human touch. She is more trusting of women than men, but once she warms up, she will make it her goal to have your loving stroke on her head at all times. Rosie is fully vetted, house & crate trained, and is an exceptionally smart girl. We believe Rosie is a Golden Retriever, Chow, Basset Hound mix and shows the great disposition of the golden, beautiful flowing coat of the chow, and she definitely has the Basset paws & legs. She’s quite comical and wants to play, but still needs a little reassurance that playtime is encouraged and not reprimanded. Rosie would do best in a settled environment; she’s fine with other dogs, completely disinterested in cats, and would be fine with older kids. Rosie will melt into your arms and loves to cuddle on the couch. She’s very eager to please.
