Hiya! Nice to meet you, I’m my name is Desi. If you can’t tell from my happy, wide, blissful smile – I’m a pug. In fact, I am an AKC registered pure bred pug. My foster mom says I’m a social butterfly – if there are treats, people, or anything squeaky- I’m all in. Life is so exciting, I’m always bouncing around. Don’t worry though, I can mind my manners when I’m asked to. I’m 6 years old, so I totally know “sit”, always come when I’m called, and of course can deliver some serious kisses. Did I mention I’m potty trained as well? Yep, I know where to do my business. Also, I do love scrumptious treats. You’ve heard of ladies having an hour glass figure? Well my hourglass has a few extra minutes (29lbs!). Don’t let my waistline fool you though– where you go, I’ll go. I LOVE going for walks, bouncing in the sunshine and meeting new people. I’m full of playful, snorty affection and am really hoping to find a forever home. I have LOTS of love to give, and just know that there is a place out there just for me and all of my wiggly goodness.

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes 2 DHPP vaccines, bordatella vaccine, 3 De-wormings, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today! Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application. While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family.
