My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Tigger

I landed up at a shelter that was ninety-six dogs over capacity and was slated to be put down on July 4th. These two sweet people found out about my plight and came to my rescue. They give my pal Lana and I lots of TLC and have kindly put a roof over our heads but it is made of wire and rainy season will be here soon so I need to find a forever home.

I'm an incredibly sweet gal, approximately six years old, 75 pound, spayed, female who has had a litter.  I am beautiful with an undergrowth of red fur on my neck.  My foster moms say I'm polite with people of all ages and I will make you smile when I roll on my back.  

I lean on my humans, take treats gently and love a good belly rub (lots of them).  Folks say I'm a very special dog, an old soul waiting for a special family/person to adopt me and bring me home.

Current with all my shots, good with children, I come when called and am housebroken. While I get along with some dogs (like my pal Lana) I don't get along with all dogs and I'm probably best off in a home without another dog, should only be be walked on leash and not taken to dog parks.

My current human says I should also mention that I will sometimes curl up in open laps cuz I really love to snuggle. Hope we get to meet soon. Woofs, wags & licks, Tig
