Macy is a spayed female Beagle mix, DOB 7/20/10.
Macy, a/k/a Velvet Ears, is a sweet, loving, low-key girl. Even though she’s young she is very laid back and a joy to be around. She is house trained, loves to go on walks, and warms up to strangers, both human and canine quickly. Macy is not an alpha dog and doesn’t want to be, she immediately rolls over to have her belly scratched when approached.
Macy has adjusted well to life indoors. She loves her new freedom from being a mom w/ puppies and often sleeps for more than nine hours without complaint. She is a good eater, and even without training doesn’t beg while her foster mom & dad are eating. She has been out on the pontoon and seems to enjoy it. Because of Macy’s past she never was given any toys and at first didn’t know what they were. She has since learned how to play with her ball and other toys.
She is very patient; she sits and waits to have her leash attached before going for a walk. She has a good routine and is an easy dog to have around and love. She does well with kids, cats and other dogs.
Macy was dumped at a shelter along with her 6 small puppies. She was tied up outside most of her life. Always Hope willingly took her in when the shelter asked for help. She has been an awesome mom and now it's time for her to find her own furever home and have someone take care of her.

Current adoption fee for all cats over a year $55; 5 months to a year, $75; 4 months and under, $110. All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, have been FIV/FeLV tested negative and are up-to-date on shots according to age.
Current adoption fee for dogs under a year is $250; over a year is $175; senior dog pricing is determined by age & breed. All dogs & puppies are spayed or neutered, heart worm tested negative (if old enough) and up-to-date on shots according to age.
Every pet is micro-chipped.
