My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Budha loves to play catch with any toy you care to throw and will sit patiently waiting for it to be thrown. He is a wonderful, well-behaved, stable dog that was surrendered by his owner. We rescued him from CRACC on 8-30-13. Budha is a 6 year-old, 48-lb. border collie.

Our adoption fees are on a sliding scale; choose the amount that's right for you. Fees for senior dogs (7 years and older) are $90 to $125; fees for dogs 1-6 years are $125-$175; fees for dogs under 1 year of age are $150-$200.

If you are 65 years or older, the adoption fee is waived when you adopt a senior dog. All Dogs Forever dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper/parvo, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and microchipped.

DOGS FOREVER SAFE PLACE HAS MOVED! We are now located at 809 Rockford Road SW in Cedar Rapids, across from the outfield at Veterans Memorial Stadium. We are open everySaturday 11-3 and by appointment. Contact dogsforever@netins.net. Our new store is located next door to our shelter and sells cool stuff for dogs and people.
