My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ATHOS
Born August2013 Male, Bi-Color Blue/Green Eyed, White Turkish Angora

Athos comes across as a thinker and noble kitty, when he’s not goofing around. Okay so it’s hard to be noble when you’re a little rolly poly kitty. His coat is thick and very huggable, with a little black line dusting on his forehead. He will meet you at the door bright-eyed and inquisitive and follow you around as you do whatever you need to do.

Athos doesn’t usually come to you for lap or loving but if you take a minute to pick him up he’ll settle right in on your lap, purring and cuddling. If the mood strikes though, he will crawl up on you, lick you, and start the purr machine. But unless he is really tired, don’t expect it to last too long. Life is too short not to play!

“Oh look a cupboard’s open. Let me go see what is in there! Oh dang the door is closed. Well I’ll meow real loud. MEOW! Oh good she opened the cupboard. Out of here! A ball…oh I love balls…any kind of ball. There’s Milady…one…two..I’ll get her from behind…three. Got you! Oh I’m getting tired where is that human…need a nap.“

Turkish Angoras are beautiful and elegant but they are very athletic and intelligent too! The Turkish Angora has a boisterous side to their nature and a cleverness that makes them endlessly entertaining. They love to play and they keep the playfulness well into their senior years. They love their own family the best. To own a Turkish Angora you should have a sense of humor as well as patience. In summary these are affectionate, gentle cats that are devoted to their family; their precocious intelligence, resourcefulness, desire for interaction and play, and short attention span make them a wonderful family member and loyal friend…and your life will never be boring again.

It would be great if Milady and Athos could be adopted together. They would make a perfect “set” for your home with double the love and laughter. Preference will be given to those who will adopt them together.

Athos will come to you neutered, tested, microchipped and vaccinated. He is litterbox perfect. He will be ready for his forever home after November 21, 2013.

Athos is fostered in Reno, NV.
