My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocco and his brother Tobi were born on the streets of Newark, NJ. Their mom is a stray that lived off whatever she could find on the streets. We first saw them late October when they were just 4 weeks old. The days were colder and the kittens seem to be too small to be able to survive the winter.

It took us a week to catch them. Rocco was smaller than his brother and had a bit of a cold, but otherwise he was in good health. Their mom was spayed and released to her neighborhood where she will be cared for by a volunteer that lives in the area. Rocco and Tobi ended up at Final Hope's foster family waiting for a forever home.

The amazing thing about Rocco is that almost from day one he began to purr. He follows our every step and is happiest curled up on our lap. He loves affection and will lick your hand when touched. He is happy and grateful to be off the streets with a full belly and a warm bed.

Rocco will make the most affectionate, sweet and gentle pet. You will fall in love with him!
