Lily is a 7 year old healthy spayed (fixed) female Domestic Short Hair lady. She's fallen on some hard times and is out searching for a new family that will love and cherish her the rest of her life. We will spare you the long and drawn out story of her "shuffling", but this cat has been to hell and back, and despite it all, has done incredibly well, has quickly adjusted to her temporary homes, but needs someone that is willing to make their home her fur-ever.
Her current foster home is with an retired man who is wanting to travel, and she would be alone for extremely long periods of time. Being alone and lonely is no way for a social creature to be treated. She's clear that she likes companionship and would be a great addition to share your favorite prime- time TV shows with, or even some quiet time on the sofa or in bed at night snuggling to keep warm! She does enjoy helping if you happen to have a project that needs editing in MS word, or rearranging the newspapers to keep the place tidy! A girl has to have something to do!
Lily has a great personality, she's not a needy cat but like her selected "people" time. She is just happy looking out the window, napping, or just exploring the corners of your home on hunt for a stray ant or furball that might need wrangling. She likes a stress free, quite type home; (if you have a revolving door, or noisy home, might not be the best fit). She would benefit from more than one person in the family, as she's got plenty of time on her hands to show you how grateful she is to have a roof over hear head and a bowl of morsels to share. She's litter trained, not destructive to the furniture, loves her scratching post, is a hearty and motivated foodie, and just wants someone who is willing to make the commitment to not discard her because it's inconvenient to their lifestyle.
Ms. Lily is up to date on all shots and is ready to go to her new home now! She's located in Blue Ridge Georgia and is available for relocation for the right opportunity. NOTE: We have little to no adoption potential up here in the hills unfortunately...so we are willing to expand the footprint to find Lily a great home in case you know of someone looking in and around Georgia/Tennessee/NC.
