Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Meet Ikota, an 12-week-old maybe a Basenji/Mountain Cur mix, weighing approx. 20-25 pounds. This beauty was found as a stray but now she is thriving as a spunky little girl and has her foster older brothers wrapped around her paw. Ikota is so adorable, she's sure to win first place in every dog beauty pageant there is, so sign her up now! When she's not stealing hearts with her friendly demeanor, Ikota loves to play with her senior foster brother’s toys (to his dismay), but he is tolerant of her behavior because Ikota is so sweet and the perfect little sister. Ikota enjoys cuddling up when she's relaxing and is the perfect couch companion for when you're watching TV. She hasn't met cats yet nor does she have experience with children, but we believe Ikota would be amazing with kiddos because of her friendly and playful attitude. Soon, Ikota will be teaching a class on crates, leashes, and potty training because she's mastered all three. With loving direction from her people, Ikota is going to be a wonderful, loving, and loyal companion. Get ready for loads of fun and love. Bring this sweetie home now! If you are intereseted in learning more about Ikota please fill out the adoption application found on our MARC website www.marc4change.org Ikota's adoption fee is $275.00

Story
Meet Nala – Ready for Her Fresh Start Meet Nala, a beautiful 4-year-old, 50-pound survivor who is ready to find the special person she can call her own. Nala's journey hasn't been easy. She came into rescue pregnant, heartworm positive, and carrying the weight of an uncertain past. Today, her puppies have all found loving homes, and Nala has completed heartworm treatment and received a clean bill of health. She is now spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Nala is kennel trained, potty trained, and settles quietly in her crate after a day of activity. She is a high-energy dog who loves to play hard and have fun, but she also appreciates having a safe space where she can relax and unwind. Because of her past experiences, Nala is very cautious when meeting new people and will need time to adjust to a new home and surroundings. She is not the type of dog who will instantly become everyone's best friend. Instead, she forms deep bonds slowly and meaningfully. Once she trusts you, Nala becomes incredibly loyal and devoted to her person. She would thrive with a patient owner who understands that trust takes time and is looking for a true companion. Nala does have some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys, so she will need an adopter who can manage those behaviors appropriately. She previously lived in a foster home with cats and did well. If you're willing to give Nala the time, patience, and understanding she deserves, you'll gain a faithful friend who will love you with her whole heart. She is available for adoption in Texas only. To see more pictures and videos of Nala, please visit the link below. To apply directly for Nala, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-708 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
