Come and meet me at our adoption event at Chuck & Don's, Edina on 12/20 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm! Age: 1 year Weight: 47 pounds Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Good on a schedule Crate trained: Yes Hi there, it's me, Rubble-on-the-double! My foster mom's granddaughter says I look kind of like Rubble from Paw Patrol so that's how I got my new Minnesota name! Now that I know my new and very cool name, I come when I'm called. Pretty good, huh? I'm so happy to be here in my foster home where it's warm, I have toys, and friends to play with -- but the best thing of all is the people! I love to play inside or outside with the people, sit on the couch with them, or just be by them when they work. When the people are gone I go in my crate. I don't like it at first so I call out to see if they're still home. And after awhile I just take a nap until they get back. I guess I'm still a young guy, a bit puppy like. But I'm just so excited! I am looking for an active family so we can have a lot of fun together! Is that family you? Adoption fee: $425

Hi, my name is Marion and I am from Texas! From her foster: Marion, or Mare as we like to call her is such a smart little girl! This southern beauty is doing so well in the cold/snow, although she also probably wants a sweater from Santa ;-) She's doing fabulous at potty training. She loves to play - chasing her foster brother, Doug and brother, Chi in the backyard and in the house! Loves a good chew toy and bone. She sleeps in the kennel with Chi from 10pm to 7am - amazing. We also kennel her while I'm working 2-4 hour stretches and she's doing great. She loves to be picked up and hugged. She is good with my boys (5 and 8). We have also been free feeding her and she's doing great with food :)

Meet Amberly – a survivor with a heart full of hope Amber is a 1-year-old Jindo mix making her way to Minnesota all the way from South Korea, where she was rescued from the unimaginable cruelty of the dog meat trade. After spending her life confined in a barren metal cage, Amberly is finally getting her chance to experience what every dog deserves: kindness, comfort, and love. She was one of 67 dogs saved by our incredible partners at Humane World for Animals (formerly Humane Society International) as part of a historic rescue from a long-running dog meat farm in Cheongju, South Korea. With the country’s ban on the dog meat industry now in motion, Amberly’s rescue represents more than just a second chance — it’s a symbol of lasting change. Despite all she’s been through, Amberly is learning to trust and open up. She’s a little shy with new people at first, but warms up with soft tail wags and gentle curiosity. She leans into petting from people she knows and is easy to walk on leash, especially with a clip-style leash. Click here to see a video of her soaking up love! Amberly has gone on many buddy walks with other dogs and is still figuring out how to play appropriately — after all, she never had a chance to be socialized in the past. She shows excitement and interest in other dogs and would benefit from continued slow introductions and a patient dog friend. With time, love, and patience, Amberly will be the most loyal, grateful companion you could ever hope for. From farm cage to soft bed — Amberly’s journey is just beginning.
