Hey Hoomans; thanks for dropping by my site. My name is Macchiato and I am an almost 4 year old, male, purebred, tan yellow/fawn colored Shiba Inu who is in the market for a new forever home. I previously had a home with a very nice owner, but my owner had some changes take place in their life and they were no longer able to take care of me. So, he brought me here to Golden Paws to find a new forever home and Hooman. The folks here say that I am a “good dog.” I know how to do a lot of things. I know how to walk on a leash, which I love to do, and some basic commands, like sit and stay. I also love to be outside with my hooman person. I get along great with other animals and Hoomans as well. My only real hang up is that I don’t like to be messed with while I’m trying to eat. At that time, it’s probably best to leave me alone. Also, I’m not quite sure what to do with children. I like to watch them play, but I would prefer not to play with them myself. Maybe after I get to know them better. The folks here at Golden Paws say I tend to be a little on the independent side sometimes. Of course, that’s not unusual for my breed. They also say that I am brutally handsome, but you can see that from my photos. I do try not to get a swelled head about it though. So what do you say? I’ve had all my shots, I have been neutered, and I’m ready to travel. Fill out an application and come on in for a visit. After we spend some time together, I think you’ll find that I’m the one you’ll be wanting to take home. I hope to see you soon in Joplin. Love, Macchiato.
