After spending 287 days waiting for her forever family, this sweet girl is more than ready to finally find a place to call home. Pippa is incredibly smart, attentive, and already housebroken thanks to her previous foster home. She loves stretching her legs with zoomies, exploring every trail and sniffing every scent, but she also knows how to settle down beautifully when asked. Whether it’s a hike through the woods, a stroll through the neighborhood, or a “Dogs Day Out” adventure, Pippa is always the perfect companion and charms just about everyone she meets. She walks wonderfully on leash and would thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and wants a loyal sidekick by their side. Pippa can be a bit of an explorer and may hop a fence if left unattended, so a tie-out lead or supervised outdoor time would suit her well. She would do best as the only pet in the home with children 8+ who can match her fun, adventurous energy. Pippa has spent far too long waiting — now she just needs someone to finally choose her.

Meet Nash! 🐾 Nash is a Basenji-Bull Terrier mix with high energy and an enthusiastic love for life. He absolutely loves to play and thrives on human companionship—people are his favorite! Nash would do best in a home without cats. He is crate trained and housebroken, and he already knows several commands including sit, down, leave it, stay, and come. Very intelligent and eager to learn, Nash would likely excel in activities like agility or other structured training that lets him use both his body and mind. His impressive athletic ability means he can easily clear a 5-foot chain link fence, so a secure yard or supervised outdoor playtime will be important. He’s a fun, smart companion looking for an active home to match his energy. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
