One of the first things you`ll notice is her beautiful mismatched eyes, but it`s her intelligence that truly steals the show. This bright young girl loves to learn and thrives when she`s given opportunities to train and use her brain. She already knows skills like `sit`, `down`, and `stay`, and she`s eager to keep adding to her impressive skill set. Moaki would love an adopter who enjoys working with their dog and is excited to continue building her confidence and abilities through positive training. Moaki is open to meeting other pets, especially dogs and is also open to meeting kids ages 8 and up who can respect her space and enjoy interacting with her. If you`re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who will excel with an active, engaged family, Moaki is ready to show you just how amazing she can be. With a little guidance, plenty of enrichment, and lots of love, she`s sure to become an incredible lifelong best friend.If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women`s Animal Center to fill out an application in person. Meet Cyrus! 💕 At 1 year old and just over 30 pounds, Cyrus is the perfect-sized package of sweetness — complete with some seriously spectacular ears! Cyrus is one of those wonderfully easy dogs who is affectionate without being clingy. She loves attention and happily returns your affection, but she’s also independent and perfectly content to relax on her own. Her foster describes her as “such a perfect dog” — and it’s easy to see why. She’s a superstar in the house, too. Cyrus can be left alone for a full workday without accidents, gets along with people and other dogs, and her foster has never even heard her bark! She responds beautifully to gentle correction and is easily redirected. Cyrus is still gaining confidence out in the world. She enjoys leisurely walks where she can stop and sniff, and sometimes pauses when something feels unfamiliar. A little kind encouragement is usually all she needs to keep going. She’s also working on “sit” and “come” and continues to make progress. If you’re looking for a quiet, sweet, easygoing companion who will happily return all the love you give her, Cyrus might just be your girl. 🐾❤️
