Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. I used to have a hard time meeting new people and getting easily overstimulated, but these days, I’m more centered, confident, and at ease. I’ve been successfully introduced to many different personalities and environments, and now I look to my handler/person for guidance and direction so that our experiences stay positive. My true spunky and fun personality, after decompressing outside of a busy shelter, has really come out!"
