Story
Tuka's story starts in a pet shop; a puppy up for sale. My brother visited that pet shop and decided he had to have that puppy in the window. My brother, Nick, bought that puppy for approximately $2,500 from the pet store; a pure-bred Shiba Inu that was microchipped. My brother took him home and decided to name him, Tuka. Nick got Tuka in September of 2023, Tuka was approximately 4 months old. Nick had Tuka for 6 months, when on March 29, 2024, Nick took his life. Nick suffered from severe case of bipolar disorder. Nick was in mania when he bought Tuka. When Nick passed away, I made the decision to take on Tuka as my own. Tuka has been with me for 2.5 years now, he is now 3.5 years old. Tuka gets along well with my dog, and they live in harmony. Tuka is house trained and has never had an accident. I recently got a new job and am away more from home. Tuka needs a home where he has more stimulation than what I can give.
