Meet Sasha – The One-of-a-Kind Girl with the Biggest Ears and an Even Bigger Heart! Some dogs greet you with a wagging tail. Sasha greets you with her entire body. This goofy, affectionate girl is full of love just waiting to be shared. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, she's simply adjusting to a world that's changed dramatically for her. Give her a little time, and you'll discover a happy, playful companion who loves her people with her whole heart. Sasha has a fun, easygoing personality and a smile that's contagious. She loves playing with other dogs, carrying around toys, chewing on bones, and soaking up the sunshine. Whether you're relaxing on the couch watching TV or heading out for an adventure, Sasha is happiest when she's with the people she loves. Sasha Loves: * Playing with other dogs * Playing with toys * Car rides * Running and exploring * Sniffing everything on walks * Chewing bones * Cuddling * Watching TV with her family * Sunbathing * Zoomies * Relaxing with her people Sasha's Favorite Thing: Greeting her favorite people. When her foster comes home, Sasha doesn't just wag her tail—her entire body wiggles with excitement as she rushes over for kisses. It's impossible not to smile when you see just how happy she is to see the people she loves. A Gentle Soul: Sasha spent her entire life with one family before coming to rescue after her owner was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for her. Because of that, new people and new places can feel a little overwhelming at first. She may be shy initially and often ignores strangers until she feels comfortable, but once she realizes she's safe, her true personality shines. She's affectionate, goofy, cuddly, and loves to play. Her foster describes her as happy, unique, and full of personality. With her oversized ears and one-of-a-kind look, Sasha is just as unforgettable on the outside as she is on the inside. A Few Things to Know: * Crate trained * Knows "Sit" and "Come" * Loves other dogs * Good with children * Learning how to live with cats and can play a little too enthusiastically * Medium energy level * Food and toy motivated * Smart and eager to learn * Pulls on leash and is still practicing good leash manners * Can have selective hearing when distracted * Nervous in unfamiliar places but warms up with patience * Strong prey drive * Must always be securely leashed or harnessed, as she can slip out if not properly secured Great Activities for Sasha: * Neighborhood walks * Hiking and outdoor adventures * Car rides * Playing with dog friends * Toy time * Indoor enrichment * One-on-one bonding time * Relaxing at home * Backyard playtime * Sunbathing on a nice day Best Match: * Patient adopters * Calm or quiet households * Active families who enjoy spending time outdoors * Homes with another friendly dog * Family-friendly homes * People willing to help her continue building confidence Three Words That Describe Sasha Best: ❤️ Goofy ❤️ Unique ❤️ Happy Foster Location: Neillsville, WI Sasha came to rescue through no fault of her own after her beloved owner was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for her. Losing the only home she'd ever known has been a big adjustment, but every day her confidence grows, and her sweet personality shines a little brighter. If you're looking for a dog with a one-of-a-kind look, a goofy spirit, and a heart overflowing with love, Sasha may be the perfect addition to your family. Ready to meet Sasha?
