WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨💗 Meet Amaya — The Sweetheart Who Blossoms Into Pure Sunshine 💗✨ (7 Months • ~35 lbs • Professional Treat Enthusiast) If you’ve been dreaming of a pup who’s equal parts soft, sweet, wiggly, and wonderful, allow us to introduce Amaya — the little lady whose gentle heart is only matched by her love for snacks and with those ears, she'll hear the treat bag 3 rooms away!! Seriously tho… offer her a treat and she will immediately decide you are her forever person. Instant loyalty, zero hesitation. At just 7 months old and around 35 pounds, Amaya is the perfect “just right” size — small enough to scoop up for cuddles, sturdy enough for adventures, and cute enough to make strangers gasp dramatically in public. She’s a tiny bit shy at first meeting (she claims it’s part of her “mysterious heroine” aesthetic), but once she feels safe, she blossoms into the sweetest, silliest, most affectionate girl. Expect tail wags, soft nuzzles, and the occasional “I love you but I’m also trying to climb directly into your sweatshirt” moment. 🌟 Amaya’s Special Skills Include: • Turning treats into friendships (very quickly) • Getting along with everyone — dogs, kids, cats, probably even the mailman • Mastering the dog door like a tiny genius • Being 98% house trained — she’s still young, but she’s nailing it • Crating well while you’re away (she says it’s her “me time”) • Looking adorable 24/7 — it’s a gift Amaya is playful, active, and full of puppy curiosity, but she’s also gentle, sensitive, and has a heart that melts right into yours. She’s the kind of dog who wants to grow and learn alongside her family — someone to show her the world, reassure her during the scary parts, and celebrate the fun ones. She is currently with a neighboring rescue partner — we work together to save as many lives as we can — and we will happily pull her into Hay Dude Rescue to complete her adoption. If you’re looking for a pup who brings sweetness, giggles, loyalty, and just the right amount of goofy puppy chaos… Amaya is your girl. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — this shy little sweetheart is ready to blossom into the happiest version of herself with a family to call her own. 🌸🐾💖

Story
Now, wait just a minute! Don't just scroll over me - puh-leas. I'm Tohru and I've been a hardwork'n mama for my whole life! I came to Fetch with a bellyful of pups and their baby daddy. Guess who birthed them? Raised them? Got bitten, chased, harassed and kept up at night by those little goblins? Me! And they all got adopted before me,(even their dad!) I'm finally experiencing some piece and quiet, but I want a home of my own. Let me give you the run down. I'm sweet and love to be pet. I want to be in the room with you and see what your up to. I don't need constant attention, I'm a Shiba after all. I do enjoy an occasional cheese or biscuit. I. Love. Toys. I like to shake them and rip them and make them squeak for mercy! I like tug toys too. I'm potty trained and kennel trained. Cats are fine, dogs are fine, but I could be okay by myself. I think. Pretty good right? Now, I'll admit, I have some flaws. I don't like leashes. I'll let you know if there is stranger danger. I don't like things that beep and boop. I'll tell your coffee maker, oven timer and fire alarm to shut it. Same for dogs barking in movies. Most days I'm content to quietly pace around the house, but sometimes ... I burst. Everything gets a barked at. The squirrels, and that leaf, your ancestors. I just have to let my feelings be known! I'm working on it, I promise, but venting is the only way for me to work through it right now. My fosters put me in my pen when I get overwhelmed and it normally helps. Phew. Sorry. That seemed like a lot, but honestly I'm a really good girl! I just need some of the tender loving care that I've been dooling out so long. You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Tohru D.O.B: 5/12/20 Breed: Shiba Inu Sex: Female Weight: 30 lbs Altered: Yes Adoption: 400 Good with Cats: Yes, I like to smell their butts! Good with Dogs: Yes, they are fine. Good with Kids: I've been good with those I've met! Special Requirements: Fenced in yard *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥ **This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##2465530##
