Story
This is Banjo. He’s a 7 year old lemon & white basset hound who spent his life with one family, and is now looking for a soft place to land. He was surrendered because his family needed to move and couldn’t afford to take him. He’s around 55lbs, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and neutered. Banjo is also house trained and has been good with the other dogs and cat he’s being fostered with. Banjo is a slow burn. He takes a little time to warm up, and likes to do it at his own pace. When he trusts you, he will let it show by giving you kisses and requesting belly rubs. Banjo is a singer and he loves it when people sing to him. His favorite is the Birthday Song and if you start, he’ll accompany you as backup. He’s in the golden years of his life and he deserves a warm bed, a soft blanket, and to know that he is loved. Despite the challenges she's faced, this sweet girl has a gentle heart and a loving soul. She has a low energy level, is housetrained, and walks nicely on a leash. Piper is also good with other dogs, making her a great companion for another calm canine. Her easygoing nature makes her a wonderful fit for first-time dog owners and seniors alike. She enjoys soft cuddles, leisurely strolls, and playing gently with toys. Piper would thrive in a quiet home—whether an apartment or house—where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. This is Boba! He’s a 60lb, ten-year-old hound-mix and he’s ready for his forever home. We don’t know what he’s mixed with, but we know he’s a sweet, goofy, adorable guy that’s such a character. Boba is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines and taking monthly preventatives. Boba is also potty trained and doesn’t require a crate. He rides well in the car, walks well on a leash and loves going on walks. He loves people - his tail starts wagging when they approach. He’s got a great temperament and really just enjoys hanging out, relaxing and enjoying his people. Boba would do best in a house without young kids, dogs or cats, and Boba does currently require prescription food.
