Low to the ground, but big on personality, Kyle is the kind of dog who just needs a little time to show you who he really is. When you first meet him, he might hang back or let out a nervous bark - he’s not trying to be tough, he’s just figuring out if you’re a friend. But offer him a couple of treats and a gentle pet, and suddenly you’re meeting the real Kyle: relaxed, wiggly and full of goofy sweetness. Once Kyle feels safe, his personality truly shines. He likes to co-exist with other dogs and has shown some adorable bursts of playfulness in group settings. He’s also working hard on his leash manners and is a great listener. With someone he trusts, he walks better and looks to his person for guidance. Kyle is looking for an adopter who understands that good things take time. If you go slow, let him warm up and celebrate his small victories, you’ll discover a loyal, silly, big‑hearted companion who was just waiting for someone to see him. If you’re patient, gentle and ready to help a shy boy blossom, Kyle might be your perfect match.
