Story
Walter is 5/6 years old and was found wandering around the streets with a nasty burst mass on his side. The mass was removed and it was caused by a hair follicle. He recovered with no problems. Walter ADORES people. If he could stay curled up on a lap all day, he would be the happiest houndie in the world! Walter will do best as an only child. He is not aggressive, but does get in shouting matches with other dogs. he will be much happier not sharing his humans. Walter is 5/6 years old, neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. This super special boy just wants his own family to live the rest of his life with. If you're interested, please contact chris@allearsbassetsanctuary.com for an application and more info. Walter's adoption fee is $400 and he is currently in NM

Story
I don't think there is a happier puppy on the planet than Chorizo is. This boy loves life beyond belief. And that could be due to his first 6 months. He was picked up as a stray and never reclaimed and shortly after being sprung from the shelter he came down with parvo. After a stay at the vet's and then more recovery at home, he was finally able to learn how much fun puppies and and should have. However, his early life left him without the socialization that he needs and while he is much better, he needs a home that will continue to work with him. He is still very shy in new situations and meeting new people. He will go behind his human's legs or under a chair to assess the situation. He also will still nip when he is excited, so he needs a home with no small children. Chorizo loves to romp and play with other dogs. He makes friends instantly with any 4-legger he meets. And he is full of energy! He needs lots of playtime and romps every day. Being so young, he is still in the puppy chewing stage and nothing is safe if he decides it's a chew toy!! He also loves dragging empty food bowls all over the house and yard! Chorizo is neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and neutered. All he needs is his very own family to complete his life. If that is you, please contact chris@allearsbassetsanctuary.com for more info and an application. Chorizo is currently in NM.
