Story
Welcome Betty to the rescue!  Betty is a female Basset Hound mix that is estimated to be around 8-10 years old.  She was found roaming the streets alone by some good samaritans who took her in to their home and tried to find the owners.  They have been fostering Betty with the hope of finding her a wonderful forever home to spend her golden years.  Betty is a sweet girl who loves treats!  She currently weighs about 45 pounds, but the veterinarian feels she should be closer to 50 lbs.  Betty is crate trained and potty trained.  Unfortunately, cats are a no as she tends to snap at them.  We feel that Betty would do best in a home with no other pets.  She has been fine around dogs she has encountered, however, a meet would be required if there is another dog in the home.  Betty has shown to do well with kids ages 6 and up but she has not been around children younger than 6 so how she is with younger kids is unknown.  Betty enjoys going for walks, riding in the car and hanging out with her people.  Betty has shown some difficulty going up and down stairs but does eventually get where she needs to go!  She is very food/treat motivated and her fosters have been using a "slow" feeding dish to slow down her eating.  She is up to date with her vaccinations and is spayed.  If you're looking for an adorable little sausage, look no further!  Betty is a treat that's hard to beat!  Betty's adoption fee is $200 which goes towards veterinary care up to adoption and fostering expenses. ##2469775##

Meet Scrappy Doo! Scrappy is a 3 year old, basset/corgi mix with the shortest legs and biggest heart! Sadly Scrappy was abandoned the day after thanksgiving, tied to a fence and alone and scared. But now he's here, warm, safe and the happiest guy! We are still getting to know Scrappy Doo but one thing is for sure, this boy has so much love to give!! He would be good with sturdy kids as he can be jumpy, and he seems to like dogs! Jury is still out on cats. If you're interested in meeting our newest shortest friend, come on down today, he can't wait to meet you!!
