Story
Lucy | 44 lbs | 6 years old | Dog-Friendly | GTA Lucy is a joyful and loving dog. She's sweet and snuggly. She loves to meet new people, get along well with other dogs, and is very polite on leash. Lucy has had one eye removed and has a significant vision impairment in the remaining eye. While she can see a very little bit now, she will likely lose all vision over time. This obstacle only reveals Lucy's incredible spirit. She is brave enough to try everything that any other dog likes to do. She's constantly learning and building confidence. One amazing thing about Lucy is how smart and patient she is when learning something new: if she doesn't get things right the first time she tries again, or strategizes a new way to do it. Lucy needs adopters who are similarly patient and resourceful! She craves adventures like any dog and loves to be outdoors. Lucy has a lovely relaxed energy. She's a deep sleeper, and doesn't require tons of daily exercise--one big walk a day usually does it! She needs a home with a fenced yard, as she loves to spend time outside. She'd do great as a second or third dog or as a solo dog, as long as she was with someone who was home quite a bit. She likes the security and companionship of canine or human company. Lucy came from difficult circumstances and it's beautiful to see her start to experience a new kind of life. She does a little happy dance and bark to show she is feeling excited and thankful about her fresh start! Any family would be lucky to get to introduce her to new comforts of living in a home, new adventures to try, and new people to befriend. Story
Currently in a Seattle foster home Meet Haram, a 7-year-old, 15kg male Beagle mix with a wonderful blend of Beagle and Labrador Retriever. He’s the perfect mix of lively energy and gentle calmness—an absolutely charming companion. Haram spent a long time in a shelter, even finding himself on the euthanasia list at one point. But by some miracle, he was rescued and given a second chance at life. Even after all those years in the shelter, Haram never lost his warmth toward people. He loves human touch, and when you approach him, he’ll gently make eye contact with you, wagging his tail in the sweetest way. It’s impossible not to fall for him. His personality is incredibly gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and is never aggressive, even when playing. He loves being social and interacting with everyone around him. When meeting new people, he opens his heart quickly, rolling over to show his belly in a playful request for some belly rubs. Haram is also a fantastic walking buddy. True to his Beagle nature, he’s curious and loves exploring, but as he’s gotten older, he’s calmed down quite a bit. After a good walk, he’ll lie down quietly, resting contentedly by your side. He genuinely enjoys the time spent walking with his family and can’t wait for those daily strolls. Because of his long shelter life, Haram doesn’t have much experience living in a home, so he might need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. He might make a few mistakes at first, especially with house training, but he’s incredibly smart and quick to learn. With patience and love from his family, he’ll soon adapt to a steady routine and household rules. Haram is not just a “survivor”—he’s a dog ready to give and receive love. His eyes tell the story of trust, of wanting to live and share life with someone who will care for him. Now, what he needs most is a forever family who will fill his remaining years with warmth, joy, and laughter. Haram is waiting for that special family to take his paw and make his final journey a beautiful one.

Story
Quick Facts • Name: Ilkong• Age: 10 years old (born January 2015)• Gender: Male• Neutered: Yes• Breed: Beagle Mix• Color: Beige• Weight: 10 kg / 22 lbs• Microchip: Yes   My Personality I’m a true people dog friendly, affectionate, and always happy to be near my humans. If we’re meeting for the first time, I’ll probably walk right up to you with a wagging tail and ask for some gentle pets. I’m happiest when I’m part of the action, whether that’s relaxing next to you or joining you on a stroll. I’m also a loyal companion who enjoys being the center of my human’s world. I thrive in a one-dog household, where I can soak up all the love and attention just for myself. My easygoing nature and love for people make me a wonderful match for someone looking for a devoted friend.   My Social Life • With People: I adore people and am comfortable being handled, carried, and cuddled.• With Other Dogs: I prefer to be the only dog in the home so I can enjoy all the attention and affection.• With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel.   On My Walks Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. I walk beautifully on a leash without pulling, though I do love to pause for a good sniff here and there. There’s just so much to explore! I enjoy a nice, steady pace and appreciate having time to take in the world around me.   Life at Home ♥ I’m a quiet housemate who rarely barks and generally does my business outdoors. I’m well-mannered at mealtime and comfortable relaxing in a safe, calm space. I appreciate companionship and do best when I can spend plenty of time with my people. I’m little afraid of being alone specially in small places. I’m learning how to adjust well when I am alone and practicing with routines that help me feel secure when alone.   My Ideal Home I’d be happiest with a loving person or family who enjoys a calm, steady companion. I’d do wonderfully with adopters who understand that I value closeness and enjoy being someone’s loyal sidekick. Seniors or families looking for a gentle, well-mannered friend might find me to be the perfect match. After all I’ve been through, I’m ready to spend my days bringing warmth, loyalty, and joy to my forever home. I’ve got a heart full of love and can’t wait to share it every single day.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!   Ilkong's YouTube Playlist   ##2494045##
