Story
Introducing Mona, the sweetest soul you'll ever have the pleasure of knowing! 😍 Mona is an adorable Beagle/Staffy mix who is approximately 8-10 years old and 40 pounds. She is the perfect blend of gentle, loving and quirky. She's the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home with her calm presence and endless affection. Mona gets along well with other dogs, especially with slow introductions. She's also a certified cat lover.... you'll often catch her greeting her feline friends with morning kisses and happily letting them chase her tail. She has done well with kids; however we need to respect this gal is in her senior years and may just prefer those calmer moments. Mona is a "stop and smell the roses" kind of girl, taking leisurely walks where every interesting scent deserves a moment of appreciation. At home, you can find Mona happily sniffing the yard, soaking up the sunshine on the deck or curled up for a cozy nap in the softest bed she can find. Mona is fully potty trained and she will let you know when she needs out. She does great in her crate too, especially if there's a comfy bed inside. She's an easygoing eater, adores her stuffed toys and firmly believes belly rubs should be a daily requirement! Mona's personality shines through in the little things. She loves chasing pesky flies, rolling around in freshly cut grass and enjoys life's simple pleasures. She's not a fan of sprinklers, baths and loud noises. Mona has a gentle heart with endless love to give. She's ready to slide into your heart and home today! ♥️

Story
Meet Tanaka aka Tuna aka Looney Toons! The silliest, most lovable bundle of energy you'll ever encounter. Tanaka is a 2-year-old mixed-breed girl weighing 32 lbs. Her exact breed mix is a mystery, but she has the look of a tall, leggy terrier (maybe Jack Russell) with a dash of Beagle. Whatever she is, she's 100% adorable! This goofy girl has adapted wonderfully to life in a home. Her foster says she is extremely adaptable and resilient, always going with the flow and quickly learning her manners and basic obedience. She is housetrained and crate trained, and does well being crated and left alone. She may bark when caught off guard, but is usually quick to settle. Tanaka is a medium-sized dog with a BIG amount of energy. She's busy, curious, and always looking for something to keep her entertained. She would make an amazing adventure buddy for someone with an active lifestyle. Her energy is very manageable with exercise and mental stimulation, and after a good walk or adventure, she's happy to entertain herself with toys before crashing out for a nap. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for Tanaka, giving her another safe place to burn off some of that youthful energy and enjoy being a dog. What's even bigger than her energy is her love. Tanaka is overflowing with affection and loves to snuggle, receive pets, and greet people with an overly enthusiastic tail wag. She is very social and quickly becomes attached to her humans and friends. And she's proven to be wonderful with kids! Tanaka loves meeting people and has shown herself to be a happy, social girl who enjoys being part of the family. Tanaka is also great with other dogs. She's eager to play but respectful of social cues and enjoys having canine friends. She is extremely excited to say hello to anyone she meets, greeting everyone as though they are her long-lost best friend. Her enthusiasm does extend to the smaller critters of the world. Birds, cats, squirrels and other little animals are VERY interesting to Tanaka, and she will pull to investigate. Because of her prey drive, she is not suitable for a home with cats or small pets. While she can be strong for her size when something catches her attention, she's only 32 lbs and very manageable with the right handling and continued leash training. If you're looking for a spunky, affectionate, active little sidekick who will keep you laughing, keep up on adventures, and then happily curl up with you at the end of the day... Tuna might just be your girl! ❤️
