Story
100% house trained and obedient. Needs a home with a fenced yard. Older kids preferred because she can be a little shy. Will not bite or nip at all. I'm super duper submissive. Great with other dogs and cats. Quiet and gentle. Will bark when it's time to go outside LOL my mother is elderly no longer able to care for her. She is 10 years old. No adoption fee.

Story
Meet Luke! 🐾 If you've been looking for a loyal little shadow with a nose that never quits and a tail that's almost always wagging, then Luke just might be your perfect match! Luke is a 6-year-old Beagle weighing about 24 pounds. He's a little on the skinny side right now, but don't worry—he's doing his best to fix that! Like any self-respecting Beagle, Luke absolutely loves food and never turns down a snack. His high metabolism just means he appreciates every meal all the more! Luke can be a bit shy when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but give him a little time and patience and you'll discover one of the sweetest, happiest dogs around. Once he trusts you, his tail hardly ever stops wagging—sometimes it even wags while he's dreaming! As a true hound, Luke loves following his nose wherever it leads. Exploring the yard, sniffing every blade of grass, and investigating every interesting scent are some of his favorite pastimes. Because of his Beagle instincts, Luke should always be walked on a leash and should never be off-leash unless he's in a securely fenced area. A fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for him, but it's not required as long as he's able to safely enjoy plenty of sniff-filled adventures. Luke is crate trained and willingly goes into his crate when asked. Like many Beagles, though, he likes to "sing" for a little while before settling in for a nap! He's also not quite fully house trained yet, so he'll need a family committed to taking him outside frequently and helping him continue building good potty habits. One thing you won't have to worry about? Luke absolutely adores children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's a gentle, friendly boy who loves being part of the family. In fact, every morning when his foster gets up for work, Luke lifts his head, checks to see what's going on, then happily decides it's still too early and curls back up to sleep. Luke is looking for a family that understands Beagles, appreciates their charming quirks, and is ready to laugh at his silly personality, spoil him with treats, and let him sniff to his heart's content. If you're looking for a sweet, happy companion with a heart of gold and an adorable Beagle voice, Luke is ready to fill your home with love, tail wags, and plenty of joyful adventures. If you are interested in adopting Luke, please fill out an application at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAY/Dog **Applications can take anywhere from 5-7 business days to complete. Story
Meet Bella, a loving family pet seeking a new home. Bella joined our family during a deeply painful season as a source of comfort after our son was murdered. Within a month, we discovered she was pregnant, and she gave birth to eight puppies. Our family lovingly cared for them, provided their first vaccinations, and helped feed them when Bella became sore from nursing. Bella later formed an especially close bond with my daughter, often sleeping curled up beside her. She became a natural source of emotional support for our entire family. She is affectionate, sensitive, loyal, and deeply connected to the people she loves. After COVID, I developed severe allergies and worsening asthma. As my health continues to decline, I must find Bella another loving home. This decision is entirely health-related and is not because of anything Bella has done. She deserves to remain a cherished family member and will come with her beautiful furniture-style crate, specially chosen for our furry princess

Story
Carrie is approx. 2 years old and 40 pounds. Kelly came from a rural NC shelter when she was just 3 months old. She has now been in rescue for almost 2 years. She is still very skittish and Leary of people. Therefore, she will need a very patient adopter. Carrie is also available to be fostered. Carrie is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Please keep in mind that our dogs are shelter dogs. We have little if any information about their prior history. We can only tell you what we have witnessed since coming in to the rescue. Please be patient and prepared to train / retrain your new family member. Our pets need time to decompress once they are in a new home. if you have not heard of the 333 Rule, please google it. It will help you understand what your new rescue dog is going through. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE CAN NOT TELL YOU IF ANY OF OUR PUPS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH CATS. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please email us and tell us a little about your family and home and what you are looking for in a new family member. This will help us determine if the pet you are interested in, is the right for your family. We are located in Hollywood/Charleston, SC. If you are not local to the area, we can recommend a transport company. This company is not affiliated with the rescue and will charge a separate fee.
