Story
Hazel is an almost year old female beagle looking for a loving home. Spayed, up to date on vaccines, wormer and prevention. Heartworm negative. She is the sweetest dog and very social. Loves all people and other dogs of all sizes. Also good with cats. She is energetic and needs an outlet/active home. Loves to go hiking, to the lake and has been on many 5k runs. E-collar trained for off leash recall. Walks good on a leash. Not a dog that will do well with a short walk or dog park every day, she loves to stay busy. House trained, crate trained, rides excellent in the car, loves to be in public. A very confident dog you can take anywhere. Would love to have another energetic dog buddy close to her size-she is very social. Happy to answer any questions and can drive to meet!

Story
Couper is a seven month Beagle who has fully figured out the good life. Hand him his toys and some attention and he's a deeply content pup- happy to play, happier to cuddle, and is determined to communicate with the birds and squirrels he can see through the window but cannot reach. He has a lot to say to them. They do not listen. He's (mostly) housebroken, responds fast to "no" and "uh-uh," and will settle on his own and entertain himself while you get on with your day. Leave him alone for an hour and you'll come back to an intact house and an unbothered puppy. The shoe-chewing reputation that preceded him turns out to be a stress thing, not a hobby, and a settled, happy Couper has no interest in your footwear. He's also a lot smarter than people give him credit for. He was written off as a dog who'd only work for treats- a theory he has disproven, performing happily for nothing but praise and an empty hand. He learns quick and he wants to get it right. He's made fast friends with the resident foster dog, and the two of them have reached a firm mutual agreement that everything is playtime. Couper would do best in an active home with another dog to match his energy. You bring the toys, he'll bring the enthusiasm!

Story
Foster Location: New Jersey Thunder was found as a stray during a thunderstorm (hence the name) and got a second chance when he was adopted from a local shelter. Unfortunately, his nose- and instincts- have gotten him into trouble. Thunder discovered that chickens are delicious and very exciting to chase, and his current home couldn't keep him because of it. He's friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and has been around kids from toddler age up through pre-teen. Cats, birds, and poultry are an absolute no unless it's for lunch. Thunder is smart, playful, and loves a ball and chew toys. He's right around a year old and has been doing so great in foster. He's gone from being a primarily outdoor dog to a guy who loves to be inside taking a nap on your bed, your couch, your lap, or wherever happen to be. His foster told us last week that he's the best dog they have ever fostered and they have been fostering since 1989!

Story
This boy is a boy that is curious but holds back till he is sure things are good.  He is a shy boy that needs a quiet home and time to learn to trust his new people. He is a sweet dog that gets along with other dogs and cats.  Some bigger dogs scare him .  Children and loud environments scare him too.March 14, 2026, 4:47 pm
