Story
Meet Stu, Stewie when he's being silly and Stuart when he's feeling fancy. Stu is a 2-year-old beagle bully mix who is sweet and very smart and needs a family that will him exercise physically and also provide mental stimulation for him to be a happy boy. He is amazing with people, great at the vet and great in the house, but he does require exercise and training to be at his best. He should be in a home with older children only, he doesn't know his size and tends to get very excited and jump on people and may accidentally knock over younger children. He is a ball of muscle and in his teen years where he’s extra excitable. He can now be in a home with other dogs but needs the right handler to make the introduction properly. He is very easily trained and loves to cuddle and be near you. Stu has recently graduated from his board and train program! He has had a lot of work and effort put into him and he’s gotten so much better while walking on leash and greeting new people. His trainer agrees that he would do best in a family who would love to have him join in on their adventures. He has the stamina and strength to be someone’s best hiking/wakeboarding/jogging buddy! Anyone who meets him falls in love with his silly personality, googly eyes and giant smile! Due to his intelligent and strong breeds, he requires a family that can in a positive way only, show him that he’s not the alpha and he’s safe with a pet parent that’s in control. He is very playful and loves to play fetch, he drops the ball and it’s a great way to get his beans out in the house. He needs a family that is willing to invest more time in the beginning in his training for the long-term benefits. Stu deserves his own wonderful family with the time, love and patience to help him become the best dog he can be. He’s crate trained but can also be left loose in the home and be a well behaved boy. Stu is fully vaccinated, sterilised, microchipped and covered for flea, tick, mite and intestinal/heartworm prevention and will come with his medical booklet. Sometimes a dog takes a little more time to open up, you may see them showing more and more of their personality over the course of the first few days, weeks or even months! We don’t know all that they’ve been through before they were rescued, but they are so forgiving and full of love and it’s worth every tough moment in the end. Developing a trusting relationship with your rescue dog is the most important thing. Stability, patience, positive reinforcement and love are the most important things!

Story
Currently in a Seattle foster home Meet Haram, a 7-year-old, 15kg male Beagle mix with a wonderful blend of Beagle and Labrador Retriever. He’s the perfect mix of lively energy and gentle calmness—an absolutely charming companion. Haram spent a long time in a shelter, even finding himself on the euthanasia list at one point. But by some miracle, he was rescued and given a second chance at life. Even after all those years in the shelter, Haram never lost his warmth toward people. He loves human touch, and when you approach him, he’ll gently make eye contact with you, wagging his tail in the sweetest way. It’s impossible not to fall for him. His personality is incredibly gentle. He gets along well with other dogs and is never aggressive, even when playing. He loves being social and interacting with everyone around him. When meeting new people, he opens his heart quickly, rolling over to show his belly in a playful request for some belly rubs. Haram is also a fantastic walking buddy. True to his Beagle nature, he’s curious and loves exploring, but as he’s gotten older, he’s calmed down quite a bit. After a good walk, he’ll lie down quietly, resting contentedly by your side. He genuinely enjoys the time spent walking with his family and can’t wait for those daily strolls. Because of his long shelter life, Haram doesn’t have much experience living in a home, so he might need a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings. He might make a few mistakes at first, especially with house training, but he’s incredibly smart and quick to learn. With patience and love from his family, he’ll soon adapt to a steady routine and household rules. Haram is not just a “survivor”—he’s a dog ready to give and receive love. His eyes tell the story of trust, of wanting to live and share life with someone who will care for him. Now, what he needs most is a forever family who will fill his remaining years with warmth, joy, and laughter. Haram is waiting for that special family to take his paw and make his final journey a beautiful one.
