We don’t think he was socialized as a puppy, but regardless, he is amazingly friendly to staff, children, cats, and other dogs. Story
I adopted Mateo when he was 2 years old while living in Portland (he is 10 now), Oregon. Since then, he’s been my sweet companion and has even traveled the country with me. Mateo is such a loving dog and really thrives in a calm, peaceful home. It’s with a heavy heart that I’m looking for a new home for him as we prepare to grow our family. He tends to get anxious around kids—especially little ones who have endless energy—so I think he’d do best with an adult household or with older kids who understand how to give him space. He truly has so much love to give, and I just want him to be in a home where he can feel safe, relaxed, and cherished.

Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable.
