Story
Say hello to this sweet girl named Bella Mae!Bella is an 8-year-old beagle-mix who recently joined us and is looking for her new best friend!A bit about her: Bella Mae is sweet, smart, and is the perfect blend of mellow, fun, and energetic! She is house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and her greatest desire is to be by her best friend’s side as a part of your everyday life! She’s lived with children (she loves people, children included!) and other animals. While she seems to co-exist well with kitty friends, she’s a bit more selective about canine companions, so if there are other dogs slow introductions would be important. If you’re looking for a delightful, loyal companion with a silly side, Bella Mae may just be your girl! We encourage you to complete our online application. If you have any additional questions about Bella Mae, or the adoption process, please feel free to reach out to us at info@fcarpets.org"We're so excited you're interested in adopting a new furry friend! To help us find the perfect match for you and our animals, we're pre-approving applicants. Here's how it works:Please start by filling out our adoption application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=rz1556&method=online_form_html&formid=6This helps us learn more about you, including which animal you're interested in, your family, any other pets you have, your living situation (owning or renting), and your veterinarian. We understand that if you don't currently have pets, you won't have a vet reference. In that case, we kindly ask for a personal reference instead. Why we ask these questions:We want to make sure we find the best possible fit for both you and the animal. For renters, we need to confirm with your landlord that pets are allowed, as unfortunately, many landlords in Franklin County have restrictions.Checking with your veterinarian helps us ensure that our animals receive the ongoing medical care they deserve. What happens next:Once we receive positive references from your landlord (if applicable) and veterinarian (or personal reference), we'll contact you to schedule an appointment if you're interested in adopting a dog.If you're looking for a feline friend, you're welcome to come in anytime during our open hours!Important information:Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date your application is approved. We're truly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our animals! Our staff is working diligently to approve applications as quickly as possible. While it may take a few days, most applications are approved sooner.Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to find loving homes for our wonderful animals!"
