Story
Looking for cuddles after he burns off his zoomies? Meet Chief a playful boy that will crawl all over you to play, or if you have another playful dog, will love to play with them, too. Chief came to PACC with a brother and sister and they got along so well. They played hard, but shared toys and food. Chief met new people, and would just let them hold him (but that won’t last long because he will want to play). He did not meet any cats. He saw children, but did not interact with them since he still has those baby piranha teeth. Chief is fed every 4 hours during the day, dry puppy food from Costco, with a small amount canned food added. His last meal is in the evening, and the puppies love having the dried food hidden in interactive toys and tossed around on the mat. Chief sleeps and plays in an open playpen area with his siblings. He goes on car rides in a kennel, and may whine for a bit, but has become much better! He does not like the bumpy Arizona roads.Potty training is still being worked on. Chief will whine or bark when he needs to go outside to potty, but that also includes during the night since his bladder is still tiny. Chief still has accidents inside his play area. Foster grandma tells him he will get better. He goes right back to sleep if his siblings do not want to play. When adopted, this may get even better, because the three siblings will wake each other up right now. I guess they figured if they all whined, foster grandma would get up quicker! Foster grandma used sheets or cloth pads for kennel or play area. Puppies could sniff out the plastic pee pads and tear them up, even when hidden under layers of cloth pads. Please feel free to email foster grandma at jsmll.meyer@yahoo.com if you have any questions.

Story
Meet Arizona, the sister to Chief and Raider! She is the smallest of the three, but she stands her ground! Arizona will wrestle and play with her brothers without hesitation, and is usually the one to start the play. Like her brothers, she loves being outside in the backyard exploring. They played hard, but shared toys and food. Arizona met new people, and would just let them hold her but that won’t last long if you adopted her. She wants her freedom! Arizona did not meet any cats. She saw children, but did not interact with them because of her razor sharp teeth. Like her siblings, Arizona is fed every 4 hours during the day, dry puppy food from Costco, with a small amount canned food added. Her last meal is in the evening, and the puppies love having the dried food hidden in interactive toys and tossed around on the mat. Arizona sleeps with her brothers and plays in an open playpen area with his siblings. She goes on car rides in a kennel, whines a bit, but then settles down. Arizona is trying hard on going potty outside, but still has some accidents in the play area. Arizona will also whine or bark when needing to go outside to potty, but that also includes during the night. Sometime foster grandma just cannot get her outside fast enough. She goes right back to sleep unless her sibling play a little bit. When adopted, this may get even better, because the three siblings will wake each other up right now. I guess they figured if they all whined, foster grandma would get up quicker! Foster grandma used sheets or cloth pads for kennel or play area. Raider is the BIG brother to his sister and brother. He could be an NFL lineman! The pup trio played hard, but shared toys and food. Raider met new people, and would just let them hold him (but that won’t last long because he will want to play). He did not meet any cats. He saw children, but did not interact with them since he still has those baby piranha teeth. Raider loves to run around in the backyard, and hide under the patio furniture to get away from the Arizona sun or foster grandma! He just loves being outside, but wants the shade because his dark fur make him really hot.Like his siblings, Raider is fed every 4 hours during the day, dry puppy food from Costco, with a small amount canned food added. His last meal is in the evening, and the puppies love having the dried food hidden in interactive toys and tossed around on the mat. Raider sleeps and plays in an open playpen area with his siblings. He goes on car rides in a kennel, and does great. Mostly he just sleeps. Raider is doing fantastic with potty training! He will whine or bark when needing to go outside to potty, but that also includes during the night since his bladder is still tiny. He goes right back to sleep unless his sibling play a little bit. When adopted, this may get even better, because the three siblings will wake each other up right now. Story
Meet Gumdrop! Gumdrop has been in foster care since March 8th, and in that short time we’ve learned so much about this sweet boy! He absolutely loves other dogs, gets along great with cats, and even ignores livestock. He’s also excellent on leash, making him a wonderful companion for walks and outings.Gumdrop is still learning the ropes of home life. He’s working on crate training and figuring out how to relax and feel secure in a home environment. After spending 84 days in the shelter—and previously surviving on his own for over 8 months—this is all very new to him.Despite his past, Gumdrop’s heart has always been with other dogs. He was originally brought to PACC after an officer safely trapped him in a neighborhood where he was known for hopping into yards just to make canine friends. That tells you everything you need to know about his loving, social personality!Gumdrop would do best in a home with other dogs and a patient adopter who will give him the time and space he needs to adjust, build trust, and blossom into his best self.If you’re looking for a gentle, dog-loving companion who just needs a chance, Gumdrop might be your perfect match!
