Meet Lana — a 2-year-old Bearded Collie mix with a beautiful coat and an even more beautiful heart. 💕🐾Lana was owner released after not getting along with the other dog in the home. Because of this, she will need to be the only dog in her future household so she can truly relax and thrive as the center of attention.The good news? Lana is house trained, which is a wonderful start for her new family. She is not crate trained, and we’re unsure how she does with kids or cats at this time. She may just need a patient home willing to help her adjust and continue learning.Weighing 39 pounds, Lana is the perfect medium-sized companion. She’s heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations and rabies, spayed, and microchipped — fully ready for her fresh start.Lana is looking for a loving home where she can be someone’s one-and-only, soaking up all the love she deserves. If you’re ready to give this sweet girl a second chance, she’s ready to give you her whole heart. 💖lana's Adoption fee is $35 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
