Meet Chicken! Chicken is a 5 month old German Shepherd mix, searching for his forever home. Chicken is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Chicken is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and he is eager to learn new tricks and games. Chicken is at the age where training and routine are critical, so he needs the consistency, patience and love of his new guardian to show him the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training. Chicken won't be a puppy forever, and as he grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about his breed. Chicken is presumed to be a German Shepherd mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test. German Shepherds are intelligent, high energy, working breeds with high needs. They thrive with structure, training, and lots of mental and physical stimulation.
