But with a sprinkle of patience and some positive introductions, you'll see my true colors shine through as I transform into a happy-go-lucky girl with a wagging tail.I absolutely adore yummy treats! However, with the warm weather approaching, I realize it's time to get my beach body in shape. I enjoy my meals at a normal pace and take my treats like a nice lady, savouring each bite.I'm not the biggest fan of toys, but occasionally, I do enjoy playing with a stuffy squeaky toy. It's just the thing to bring out the playful side in me.I must admit, my leash manners are a work in progress. I'm a determined lady and can be a bit stronger than expected when I'm on the hunt for delicious treats. While I'm working on perfecting my leash etiquette, I'm proud to share that I know some basic obedience commands, such as "sit"-especially when a treat is involved!When it comes to body handling, I tend to be reserved and cautious, so a bit of reinforcement would help me feel more comfortable. I would thrive in a quiet, laid-back home without children or other animals. It's the perfect environment for me to blossom and share my love. I'm a bundle of joy sitting on the higher end of the energy scale. I thrive on structure and having something to focus on, and I'm happiest when I'm engaged and learning.The great news is, I absolutely love training! With clear directions and small tasks to work on, I settle beautifully and show just how smart and capable I am. Training helps me regulate my excitement and provides a positive outlet for all my puppy energy.I do best when I'm not given too much freedom all at once. Large open spaces or unstructured time can be a bit overwhelming for me, so I'll flourish in a home that enjoys guiding a young dog through learning and routines. I'm both crate trained and potty trained, and I'm learning to relax with appropriate outlets like chew toys. Once I've burned off some energy, I'm happy to sit beside you and quietly work on a chew.I get along well with kids and love being around people, though sometimes my excitement comes out as jumping. Since I'm likely to grow into a decent-sized dog, continued work on polite greetings will be important as I mature.I've recently started learning how to settle on an elevated bed, which is helping me develop impulse control and teaching me to pause and think rather than reacting with pure excitement.I would thrive in an active home that enjoys working with dogs, providing structure, training, and healthy outlets for my energy.
