Her Story: Cornbread’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was found injured and unable to move in a field, suffering from a severe break to her back leg. Even in pain, she remained gentle, sweet, and trusting with everyone who came to help her — a true testament to her loving nature. After receiving veterinary care, Cornbread bravely underwent a leg amputation. Today, she’s a proud tripod who is up, moving, and ready to take on the world. Personality: Cornbread is as sweet as her name. She’s gentle, calm, and affectionate, with big soulful eyes that seem to ask for nothing more than love and belonging. While she’s still adjusting to life with one less leg, she’s doing wonderfully and approaches each day with quiet determination and grace. Best Home Fit: Cornbread would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands she may need a little time to settle in and build confidence. She’s ready for a family who will celebrate her resilience and give her the soft landing she so deeply deserves.
