Story
From the person that orignally saved Kita: She is such a good dog. Great with our children of all ages (11, 2 and 5 months) loves tennis balls! Kita would flourish in a home without other pets and with someone who can provide her with both physical activity and mental stimulation—she’d love hikes, walks, puzzle toys, and training sessions! We can’t provide the activity and enrichment she deserves. Taking her on initially was to get her out of an abusive situation and we fell in love and couldn’t let her go, but we can no longer be selfish in keeping her. Making this decision has been incredibly painful. I strongly believe that dogs are a lifetime commitment, and carrying the feeling that we have failed her weighs heavily on my heart. We love Kita deeply, which is why we are reaching out in hopes of finding her a home that can meet her needs and allow her to truly thrive. www.playk9rescue.org
