Story
Gypsy was my father's pet. He died recently. My family isn't able to take her in, so we've been looking after her as she continues to live at his house. We cant continue with that indefinitely - and she's very lonely now. Gypsy has lived a pretty reclusive life. She's fine with my 5 and 8-yr-old kids, though as a young dog we didn't trust her much with our then-younger kids. She's fine, if a little overbearing, with our dog who's a lot smaller than her. Theres a cat who lives around her yard who she ignores. Gypsy is smart and curious and she likes - or rather used to like - keeping close tabs on everything going on around her house and yard. She's been getting slower over the past few months and she has pain in her hips. For her whole eight years she's spent all but a few days close at my dad's side. Since his death, she's been both lethargic and super eager to make friends with someone new. We had to have her rear end shaved because dad hadn't taken her for grooming recently.

Story
Everyone meet Jose! Jose is a 3 year old male German Shepherd Mix. Jose has been in foster care for a while and is doing wonderfully and is ready for his forever home. Although it takes a little bit of time for him to warm up to his person, once he does he loves giving kisses and getting all the pets!Jose gets along well with other pups, but often likes to be the leader! Jose is a very good boy and has been started on basic commands such as sit, down, and heeling. He is pretty calm for his breed and enjoys relaxing and taking naps but also has a playful side to him. Jose listens very well, is trainable with good toy drive, and is always willing to work for food! He is also potty trained!Jose is currently in foster care outside of the shelter.
