Bear is an older dog that is good with kids and most other dogs and can live with one as long as it is respectful of his boundaries. No cats though, the game of chase is just too enticing. He`s a love bug that is always up for an adventure, so don`t let his age fool you, he`s still got a lot of spunk in him. Since he is over 7 years old, his adoption is free to anyone over 55! Bear would make an excellent hiking companion who would love a good snuggle at the end of the day. He rides fantastic in the car, he`s housebroken, he`s eager to hike and sticks close to you. He walks wonderful on the leash and enjoys leisurely strolls by the river. He is truly a great dog, but he takes longer than most to really settle in and feel comfortable. If you are willing to give this spunky boy a second chance, come down and meet him today, you really won`t regret it!
